EL BABY SHOWERS

Hello to everyone!!!

Manny and I are fortunate to have such wonderful friends and family. I was lucky to be thrown two baby showers. One was held in Santa Barbara by Rae and Marnie and the other in Palm Springs by Maky, Manny's sister.




The Santa Barbara baby shower was held at the Crocodile Bar, which is this rad 90's bar with great appeal to it. For some reason our baby theme is crocs and gators, I guess me being from the south havin a gator in my baby theme would only be right.






























This baby shower was an all girl shower and I got so dressed up in this ridiculous Betsy Johnson dress, but what the heck, I might only have this chance one time and I wanted it all.. The girlest baby shower I could image, games and all!!! Rachel and Marnie did just that and I am so great full for them... I had the pink cupcakes down to the baby food guessing games, and many girlfriends came and had a great time!!!












The best thing was everyone had a chance to make their very own baby outfit creation with onesies and fabric markers. I cant wait to put the baby in those clothes. She is going to be the raddest baby i know!!!












Then Manny and I had a familia baby shower in Palm Springs. This one was amazing!!! So many people were there for Manny and I in celebration of our baby girl, man Maky knows how to throw a party!!!! There were so many presents and food, oh the food I was so excited about the food a week before!!!!












Not only was the food amazing, Monica, Manny's other sister came up with the idea of the BEST GAME IN THE WORLD.. called "Name that Dish", we had to name the dishes that we ate!!! I want to play this at every party!!!












Then to top it all off the best cake in the world came to my baby shower, this cake was huge and so delicious. It was a chocolate cake with cookies and cream icing!! I was in heaven and got the corner piece!! YES!!


Manny's mom also handmade these wonderful baby shower gifts for people that said, "Baby Roldan 2009". They were precious.


WE received so many wonderful presents and I opened presents from my Poppi and Grammy as well as my mom at the baby shower, it made me feel like my family was there!! We got bouncers, swings, handmade blankets, clothes, toys, books, a 6 foot caterpillar, which has a friend in the crib already, our 5 foot gator, and so much more. I dont know if the baby will have room in the crib....


When it came time for the games... we played guess how big i am with toilet paper pieces and Jessica won!!! As well as the take the pins off with one hand game, which was my favorite!!! Natilia won!!!





Later in the evening during the baby shower we had geese fly over us, which means good luck.



I am just so blessed that Manny and I have such wonderful friends and family and we both appreciate everything!!!
