ViVi three weeks old

Hi Everyone!

Our baby girl is three weeks old and she is growing so much.  She just moved up from newborn size diapers to size one. I almost cried, well maybe not but it still was a tear down my face she is getting so big!

She is doing great at tummy time, she is lifting her head and kicking her feet too.

She is now grown out of her newborn clothes and into her 3 months clothes.  It is funny, before she was here I said I would not get her any girlie outfits but the time has come where i just can't say no anymore, they are too cute and I love to make her look girlie.

Oh and Vivi is sure the travler, this past week we went to Oakland.  She did great on the drive up there, and we became pros at changing her in the car! We learned there are limit places on a road trip where you can change a diaper.   Manny worked for a week and Vivi hung out at the hotel and enjoyed downtown Alameda.  My friend Kathryn, whom I have known for 25 years, stopped by and met Vivi.

Just this past three weeks has taught me so much about myself and showed me something greater between Manny and I.  It is all about our family from now on and they mean the world to me.

This past weekend was the first weekend Manny went to Portland and Vivi and I went Palm Springs.  I cried as he boarded the plane but had a great time with the familia and couldn't wait to pick him up on Sunday! I realized how much Manny helps me with the baby!!!  He is such a great daddy!!!

I wish we took a picture but Manny and I have realized that we need a bigger car, our little scion just isn't big enough for the stroller, play pen, diaper bag, car seat, ect.  We went looking at the Honda Elements on Sunday and fell in love with the car!! It is perfect for our family! Now it is time to save that money.

Oh and more good news, our neighbors just had their baby girl last week.  Her name is Iris and she is precious.  Vivi and her met for the first time and hit it off.  Soon she will have a friend to play with at the park and someone to play house with.
